Luna Bars

Luna Bars

*I can no longer recommend Luna bars because of their high soy content, but I do recommend Lara bars, which contain no soy*

Ok, I have finally found an energy/vitamin bar that I like. (I think most of them taste terrible). I am finally addicted to Luna Bars. I actually think they are more of an acquired taste (like coffee and diet drinks are, you have to have several in order for your taste buds to adjust.)

And as my friend pointed out, once you eliminate high fructose corn syrup from your diet, natural things just taste better.

The first one I ate was at Candi's house, and I wondered why she had so many boxes of the things. And every time I see my friend Chace she always mentions Luna bars. So I finally broke down and bought several varieties at Target, and found that I like the chocolate ones very much. My favorites are Nuts over Chocolate, Caramel Nut Brownie, and Smores. (so far - there are several flavors that I have not tried yet.) So here is the information on Luna Bars. Pick up a bar or two at Target or Walmart (in their vitamin/meal bar/ energy supplement section.) Individually priced at .99 cents, or 6 bars in a box for $5.

*however, check out my blog on the dangers of soy - http://melissaneece.blogspot.com/2007/10/soy.html
